This week’s club event is a club run, aimed at all club members. Meet at the cricket club car park at 6.30 on Tuesday evening. We’ll aim to get left at 6.45pm, and cover about 30 miles in around 2 hours.

And finally, chief marshal and club chairman Desi McIlwrath has asked me to point out that riders are no longer expected to help out with the marshalling at club road races and time trials. Desi can generally round up enough supporters to cover the marshalling, although any offers of assistance are always welcome!
So you can now ride all 5 club road races and still be eligible for the prestigious road race trophy (although note that only your best four results will count).
