Here’s a round-up of the latest club news.
With the Sunday 60 now firmly established, we thought it would be a good idea to remind members about all our club runs. There are two on a Saturday and two on a Sunday – full details here (or follow the Club Runs link in the Club Events menu above).
The Tour of Strangford back on 10th September was raising money for Ards and North Down Samaritans this year. Once all the entries and donations were counted, and the club added a small top-up, the total amount raised came to £1500. This is a great effort – thanks to all who helped organise it, and to all those who took part and/or donated.
The Club Social and Awards Night will be on Saturday 25th November in Romas. More details will be emailed out to members shortly. This is always a fun evening – check out the report from last year here.
And finally, the club Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday 29th November at 7pm in Londonderry Park. This is your chance to hear how the club is doing, decide what we should get up to next year, and vote for the officials who will help us get there. Here’s a report from last years AGM to give you a flavour of what to expect.
