This year’s club BBQ will be on Saturday 3rd August. As in recent years the event will be at 20 The Oaks, off the Old Shore Road in Newtownards. All members and their families are welcome. There is a trampoline, swings, zip line, etc. for the kids, and a quiz and some 75th anniversary club history for everyone.
There will also be roller racing for all. Last year, Darren beat Karl Rocket by 5 hundredths of a second in the final to maintain adult honour. Can a Rocket become the first underage rider to take the overall title this year??
The fun will start at about 3.30pm, and the cost is £6 per adult and £2 for under 16s. BYOB. Please let Darren Colville or any member of committee know if you are coming so that we can plan appropriately. Darren can be contacted at the club races or Saturday club runs.
If there are any budding chefs out there willing to share the BBQing that would be much appreciated.
