Note – The 5 mile time trial, planned for 26/3, has now been moved to 23/4 (replacing the club run originally planned for that evening). This is because the hour doesn’t go back until 30/3 this year. The first club race will now be a circuit time trial in Comber on 2/4.
The Ards Cycling Club 2019 race calendar has now been published – click here, or follow the link in the “Club Events” menu above. There is the usual mix of time trials and races.
Everyone is welcome (both Ards CC members, and those from other clubs). We especially welcome those new to racing. Ards CC has one of the best club racing programmes in Ulster, and the calendar of events is designed to help you develop and improve. Check out this link from a couple of years ago for more details on our club races and associated competitions and time trial standards.
The calendar also includes our big open events, including the Tour of Ards (23rd March), the Town Centre Races (19th June), the Champion of Champions 25 (11th August) and the Tour of Strangford (15th September). We always need lots of help to run these showcase events, so if you’re not taking part please volunteer 🙂
