Ards CC has been running a Christmas 10 on the Portaferry Road for almost 40 years. It’s a fun event, with no entry fee, but everyone is encouraged to bring a small, nicely wrapped present, so that no-one goes home empty handed.

Fancy dress has played a big part in the event over the years, and given the turn out at the fry run last weekend, there are lots of great outfits out there that could be user again.

There are always a couple of riders who take it seriously, but don’t let that put you off! The vast majority come down for the craic (and for Desi’s special punch) and to build up a healthy appetite for Christmas lunch.
As always, this year’s race starts at the Flood Gates on the Portaferry Road on Christmas morning, with the first rider off at 10am. Don’t miss it 🙂
