Ards CC was saddened to hear of the death of former member Alexander Dickson recently at the age of 89. Alex already had a strong history as a cycling official in the Northern Ireland Cycling Federation and in Maryland Wheelers before joining Ards CC in the 1980s. He quickly became a central figure in club life, including a period as Treasurer.
Ards CC would like to offer their condolences to his wife Valerie, sons Stuart and Ian (also former members) and the wider family circle at this time.
The funeral will be at Stormont Presbyterian Church at 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd July.
