Following last week’s close finish, things were even tighter tonight, with Adam Skeet (Northern) and Ian Inglis (Black Rose) both recording 12:06, and Paul Kane (Northern) snapping at their heals with 12:09.
First Ards rider was Willy Gill and he takes an early lead in the circuit time trials cup (which is worked out on a scratch basis).
Hard to tell if that’s a smile of a grimace.
Time trial bikes were a handful on the climbs
…whereas road bikes looked faster here.
