Winner Ricky Topping
It proved to be a fast night for the final time trial of the club season this evening, in spite of a niggling south easterly wind. Fastest on the Donaghadee Road 5 mile course was Ricky Topping (Ards CC), who pipped fellow Ards man Paul Crossan by one second to win with a personal best time of 11:18.
In the handicap competition, it was Dean Bradley who improved by the biggest margin and took 10 points. However, he’ll have to share the 5 mile handicap trophy with Steve Limmer and Chris Spiers, who also have 10 points each from the first 5 mile time of the season back in March.
