Three bits of racing news this week. First, congratulations to Stuart Millar on a great ride at the National Road Race Championship on Sunday. And thanks to all those who went down to provide support and encouragement.
Second is round 4 in the Inter Club League – a kilometre time trial organised by our good friends in North Down CC on Wednesday evening. It was a great night for Ards CC, with Aaron Fegan, Stuart Millar and Ben Healey filling the top three places. This means that Stuart extends his lead in the overall standings with two events left to go. But with only a rider’s top 5 events to count, there are still lots of riders in contention, and everything to play for.
Finally, it’s the Newry 3 day this weekend and Ards CC are represented by Ian Carson, Ben Healey and Aaron Fegan, along with guest rider (and Ards CC club race regular) James Alexander (McConvey Cycles). After Aaron’s and Ben’s strong showings in the Killermetre, the team are heading into the race on a high. Good luck!
