Andrew Hedley
Conditions were almost perfect for tonight’s 5 mile time trial in Comber with only the first midges of the season floating in the still conditions spoiling the idyllic scene. That, and Andrew Hedley (Ards CC) storming down the Old Ballygowan to break the 12 minute barrier by 6 seconds and take the win. Barry Mitchell (Ards CC) also dipped under 12 minutes to take second place, with Marc Allen (Ards CC) just a few seconds further back in third.

There were other close battles throughout the field, with Joseph Giles (Ards CC) beating Philip Giles (Ards CC) by 1 second for 7th place, through to Colin Wilson (Ards CC) and William Orr (Ards CC) tying on 15:20.
