Former Irish hill climb champion Mark Kane was a clear winner of tonight’s hill climb on Bradshaw’s Brae. The Road Service had done a magnificent job re-surfacing the course over the summer, but a stiff breeze meant that the course record was never in danger.
Gareth Murray was second overall, and first Ards man, and his efforts earned him the John Smilie shield.
