The club was saddened to hear of the passing of Joyce McIlwrath earlier today. Joyce, wife of former club chairman Desie McIlwrath, was a loyal and reliable supporter of Ards Cycling Club behind the scenes. Her hot tea and sandwiches after the Tour of Ards were much appreciated over the years, and her desserts at the club BBQs were always excellent.

The club pass on their condolences to her husband Desie, their three daughters and the wider family circle.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday 27th July at 11.00am in St Mary’s Parish Church, Comber, and afterwards to Loughview Cemetery, Comber.
