Ricky Topping won tonight’s Bradshaw’s Brae hill climb, but a niggling cross/head wind meant that the course record was never in danger. His time of 4:17 was well clear of a close battle for second, with Geoff Brennan (4:36) just beating Andrew Jess (4:38) and Luke Joyce (Kinning, 4:43). They were followed by Barry Greer (Kinning, 5:09), Brian Wylie (Castlereagh, 5:28) and Colin Wilson (6:00).
