The second club road race of the season took place over 3 laps of the Orlock Circuit. A strong scratch group managed to get through to the front this time with the ever green Mark Kane taking the win.
First Ards man home was Gareth Murray, followed by Willie McMullan, Ian Carson, Mark Watson, William Gill and Richard Hanna.
After two club roads races, things could hardly be closer in the overall standings. Three riders now share the lead with 3 races remaining. Remember, only a rider’s best four results count, so this trophy is still wide open!
