Ards CC are delighted that DECATHLON & B’TWIN have agreed to sponsor this year’s Tour of Ards. Total prize fund is £750 with £175 for the winner.
The race will take place on Saturday 22nd March. The route is one of the toughest in recent years, taking in two laps of a new circuit that includes both Mountain Road and Lough Doo. The opening miles down the outside of the Ards peninsula are also changed slightly to avoid roads damaged in the recent storms, but the classic finish up the Strangford Lough coast road remains. Entry opens on 15th February, and entries will close on 15th March. We have permission from the police for an 80 rider field, but this event is always popular so enter early to avoid disappointment. You can download an entry form here – TOA 2014 official entry form
