Ards CC has several events coming up in the next few weeks. Here’s a quick reminder.
- The club Annual General Meeting is on Monday 21st November at 7.15pm in the Strangford Arms Hotel. This is your chance to pick who runs the club next year, and to discuss what we should be doing. New ideas and volunteers always welcome! A report from last year’s meeting is here.
- There is First Aid Training on Monday 28th November at 7pm in the Londonderry Park Pavilion, Portaferry Road, Newtownards. Come and here our in house expert Conn Russell.
- The Annual Awards Dinner is on Saturday 3rd December at 7pm in Molly Brown’s. This is our main social event of the year, and a chance to recognise our riders’ achievements in club competition and have a bit of craic.
- The Christmas morning 10 mile time trial is at 10am on…. Christmas morning, on the Portaferry Road (meet at the flood gates). This is a fun event to get you out of the house and build an appetite for Christmas Lunch. Fancy dress welcome.
And our club runs are still going strong throughout the winter (although watch out for black ice on the cold mornings).
