Ards CC have a couple of Festive Events coming up over the Christmas period.
First is the Christmas Fry Run next Sunday (20th). Riders will meet at Café Nero in Conway Square, Newtownards at 9am. There will also be a pick up in Comber Square at about 9.20am. Riders will then complete a 20-25 mile loop, arriving at the TT Lounge in Comber at about 11am for a fry and tea/coffee. Cost is £5. Everyone welcome, including non cycling members and family. Festive attire! If possible let Paul McMinn know if you are going so that he can get a rough idea of numbers.
Second event is the Christmas 10 mile time trial at 10am on Christmas morning. We’ll meet at the Flood Gates on the Portaferry Road. Every rider is asked to bring a small gift so that everyone goes home with a prize. Fancy dress optional, but encouraged. The Jardine Trophy is presented to the fastest rider on the day.
