Glen Kinning (East Antrim) stormed round the club’s new Donaghadee 10 mile time trial course this evening to set a new course record of 22:39. Although it was a warm evening, there was a niggling wind. Many other riders were back slightly on their times from the previous race on this course a couple of weeks ago, which makes Glen’s ride all the more impressive.
Turn out tonight was down on recent weeks because many riders are out training in Majorca at the moment. We’ll be expecting great things when they return for the first club road race of the season next Tuesday at Carrowdore.
